Installation, Fitment and Upkeep

Slide the shaft in from one side, fit the levers onto their dovetails and confirm each retention stud clicks fully home. Reinstall the detent and spring, then function check the safety thoroughly with the rifle unloaded before it goes anywhere near ammunition.

If the selector ever feels gritty, the culprit is usually the detent channel rather than the shaft. A quick clean and a drop of oil restores the crisp click most people notice on the first install.

Maintenance is essentially nothing. Keep the detent channel clean, add a drop of lubricant to the shaft during normal cleaning and confirm the levers remain locked to their dovetails during periodic inspections.
