The Breek Arms AR10 WARHAMMER Mod2 Charging Handle in black is an incredibly affordable upgrade compared to other 308 charging handles on the market, without sacrificing the quality Breek Arms is proud of. This Breek Arms AR10 WARHAMMER will substantially increase the usability of your .308 or 7.62 AR as an easy drop in upgrade. It is made entirely of 7075 aluminum for added strength and durability. Outpost Firearms stocks the black finish version.
Why the Breek Arms AR10 WARHAMMER Mod2 Works So Well
Large frame AR rifles are harder to charge than their AR-15 cousins. The buffer spring is heavier, the bolt carrier is larger, and the stock charging handle latch was designed decades ago for a rifle that nobody expected to run with optics and gloves. An extended ambidextrous latch fixes all of that.
Easily grab either side of the handle and you can quickly charge your rifle even with large gloves, thanks to the textured grooves cut into the latch handles. The wide set-back latches work great with large optics, giving you room to get a hand in there without fighting a scope body or a mount.

The Mod2 Gas Mitigation Update
The new MOD2 design features improvements aimed specifically at reducing gas blowback in the shooter’s face. The relief cuts on the top and bottom of the stem direct extra gas out the side and away from you rather than straight back through the charging handle channel.
This matters most on suppressed rifles and on short gas systems, where back pressure pushes a significant volume of hot, dirty gas rearward. Anyone who has run a suppressed 308 for an afternoon knows what that feels like in the eyes. A gas mitigating charging handle like the Breek Arms AR10 WARHAMMER Mod2 is one of the cheapest ways to improve it.
7075 aluminum is the right material choice here. The charging handle takes shearing loads at the latch and torque through the stem, and 7075 offers substantially higher strength than the 6061 alloy used in less demanding parts. On a large frame rifle with a heavy spring, that margin is worth having.
Installation, Compatibility, and Care
Installation is genuinely drop in. Remove the upper from the lower, slide the old charging handle and bolt carrier out, insert the WARHAMMER, and reassemble. No tools, no fitting, and no permanent modification, which also means you can move it between rifles.
Confirm your rifle uses a standard AR10 or large frame pattern charging handle channel, since large frame rifles are less standardized than AR-15s. Check that your optic and mount leave clearance for the latch you intend to use most.
Maintenance is minimal. Wipe the handle down when you clean the upper, pay attention to carbon buildup on the stem and in the relief cuts if you shoot suppressed, and check the latch pin and spring occasionally for wear. Do not over oil it, since oil in the receiver channel just collects carbon. Cheap Upgrade, Real Improvement
Few parts improve a large frame AR this much for this little money. The black finish keeps it understated on a working rifle. Ships direct to your door, no FFL required.
