Who it’s for
Owners of semi-auto .22 rifles and pistols who want to cut the noise without buying a suppressor. The original Quiet-22 is too soft to cycle most semi-autos, which annoyed a lot of 10/22 owners. CCI answered with this version: a heavier bullet at a bit more speed, which gives enough push to run the action while staying comfortably below the speed of sound. A few pistols with stiff recoil springs may still short stroke on it now and then.
