Who it’s for
Anyone with a bolt action, lever action or single shot .22 who wants to shoot without bothering the neighbors or the dog. CCI puts it at around 75 percent less perceived noise than standard .22 LR, and in practice the loudest part is often the bullet hitting the target. It’s a very good way to start a young shooter, because there’s nothing to flinch at.
It’s also handy for pest control around a property, where a regular .22 would be louder than you’d like.

Wrong choice for a semi-auto
