Plated or coated?

Velocity also loads a 147 grain match round with a polymer coated Blue Bullet. Plated bullets have a thin copper skin and leave less smoke and residue. Coated bullets cost a little less. If your gun runs both, pick by price. If it’s fussy, the plated round is usually the easier fit.
