Compatibility and Construction

While the GEN M3 is optimized for Colt-spec AR15 and M4 platforms, modified internal and external geometry also permits operation with a range of additional weapons. That list includes the HK 416, MR556A1, and M27 IAR, the British SA-80, and the FN SCAR MK 16 and 16S among others. Buying magazines that work across several rifles simplifies life considerably.
