Materials and Why Steel Matters Here

A Magpul QD sling swivel is a single point of failure on any rifle. Installation, Compatibility, and Care

Thread your sling webbing through the loop, dress the tail properly through the adjuster, and make sure the QD button faces outward where your thumb can reach it. Push the plunger, seat the swivel fully into the socket, then release and pull firmly to confirm it has locked. Do that check every single time you attach a sling.

QD sockets are a standardized interface, so this swivel will work with the sockets built into most modern buttstocks, M-LOK QD mounts, and receiver end plates. If your rifle has no QD socket, add one before adding this swivel.
