Patterns in a .410
Half an ounce of shot is a small payload, so the .410 is the hardest gauge to break targets or drop birds with. Keep shots close, and use a tighter choke than you would in a bigger gauge. The .410 is an expert’s gun, not a beginner’s shortcut, even though it kicks so little.
