This load uses new brass, non-corrosive boxer primers and a heavy flat point bullet at about 750 fps, which makes for easy recoil and a very pleasant range session. The 50 rounds come packed loose in a sealed clear bag rather than a box.
It’s also a nice load for introducing someone to a big bore revolver without scaring them off.

Any sound .44 Magnum revolver will fire .44 Special, and this is a good way to practice cheaply. The shorter case can leave a ring of carbon in the front of each chamber, so scrub the chambers afterward or full length Magnum cases may start to stick.
