Who it’s for

Revolver shooters who go through a lot of .38 Special and want a good price per round. The classic 158 grain weight runs at about 850 fps, giving mild, familiar recoil. The bullets are plated flat points, the brass is remanufactured with mixed headstamps, and the primers are non-corrosive boxer type.

A hundred rounds covers a solid afternoon of practice, and it’s just as happy in a .357 Magnum revolver as in a .38.

Plated bullets

A plated bullet has a thin layer of copper over a lead core, much thinner than a true jacket. At .38 Special speeds that’s perfectly fine, and it keeps lead out of the bore better than a bare lead bullet. It’s just not meant for very hot loads.
