The 230 grain round nose is the weight the cartridge was built around, running at about 870 fps with the familiar slow push of a .45. It’s loaded in remanufactured brass, non-corrosive boxer primers and clean burning powder.

This brass includes both small primer and large primer .45 cases. That makes no difference when you shoot it. If you reload, sort the empties before you deprime, because a small primer case on a large primer setup, or the reverse, will stop your press.
