Who it’s for

AK-74 owners who stretch past the usual 100 yard range day. The tapered base on a boat tail bullet cuts drag, so it holds its velocity a bit better and drifts a bit less in the wind than a flat base bullet of the same weight. Be realistic about it. Most AK-74 pattern rifles aren’t tack drivers, and steel case ammunition isn’t match ammunition. Where the boat tail earns its place is on larger steel at 300 yards and beyond, where less wind drift is easiest to see.
