Keep the bolt carrier wet
An AR runs best lubricated. After a few hundred rounds, carbon builds up on the bolt and inside the carrier. A few drops of oil on the bolt and carrier rails before each range day, and a wipe down after, will keep a high volume rifle cycling through long sessions.
