Check the fit
AK magazines rock in, front lug first. Most fit any AK-47 pattern rifle, but some American made receivers are tight. Seat it, pull down to make sure it’s locked, and run a few rounds through it before trusting it. A long 40 round body can also hit the ground when you shoot prone.
