.40 S&W owners interested in a nontraditional carry round. Pilgrim’s Torch uses a 60 grain solid copper hollow point, a fraction of the weight of normal .40 bullets. The maker designs it to pass barriers and then break apart in soft tissue into multiple wound paths, with less risk of passing all the way through.

Much lighter bullets also mean noticeably less recoil than standard .40 loads.
